**Position Description**

You will serve as a H-60 Logistics Management Specialist in the Fleet Support Team, H-60 FST Logistics Division of FLTREADCEN EAST. This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

**Position Duties/Responsibilities**

  • You will ensure the safety and readiness of assigned aircraft systems, while reducing total cost of ownership to the Navy.
  • You will serve as a technical and administrative point of contact for the fleet, all elements of the Logistics competency, for in-service logistics or acquisition logistics issues.
  • You will develop, review, evaluate and provide supportability inputs to program technical and mission documentation.
  • You will conduct and evaluate mission area analysis and assessment to develop Integrated Product Support (IPS) concepts and constrains.
  • You will develop, prepare, review, and update IPS planning documentation.
  • You will identify and determine logistics planning tasks, actions, projects, and schedules required to implement assigned IPS program responsibilities.
  • You will identify fleet logistics problems and issues, develop solutions, identify tasks and actions required, and monitor implementation.
  • You will investigate and evaluate existing, emerging and new technologies, processes and maintenance techniques and practices for application to the end item design, to the support system, and preventative and corrective maintenance requirements.
  • You will assist in the development of Operation and Safety Improvement Program (OSIP) proposals and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).
  • You will identify problems, issues, and constraints with Common Support Equipment (CSE), Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) and METCAL requirements.
  • You will prepare inputs for various program related budgets for assigned systems and functional area.
  • You will prepare budget justification and impact statements and prepare supporting documentation and reclamation.
