About the role: As a Merchandising and Apparel Inventory Specialist, you would ensure that Nectar’s apparel and other branded merchandise is represented in designated stores, and that stock is replenished as needed. You would also work to facilitate the sale of these items by creating engaging displays and attractive promotions.
Salary Range: $18+
Responsibilities:
- Create daily inventory picklists for merchandise drops to all locations, tracks inventory trends and adjustments, pack, and ship orders to stores via Logistics team and drivers.
- Monitor and modify inventory in FlowHub/NAV from warehouse to stores, and work with the Adjustment team on discrepancies.
- Develop new line items in FlowHub/NAV.
- Picks and packs inventory to ship to all stores according to the daily pick list
- Label and transport totes to Logistics for delivery via drivers. Maintain shipping tote levels and supplies.
- Receive new inventory/pallets from distributors. Verify quantities/issues with shipping invoice. Supply manager with invoices. Break down pallets and shipping boxes for recycling.
- Sticker new inventory with in-house skus and price tags when needed. Wrap loose glass items in bubble wrap for transportation (Special K, Biohazard, etc.), group small items together in bags for shipment (dab tools, patches, etc.).
- Receive, log, and separate merchandise returns from the stores. Report log to Purchasing Specialists for credit/return to manufacturer/distributor.
- Assist in monthly inventory audits to maintain proper inventory numbers
- Assist Merchandise team with new store build outs, display builds, and store updates when needed
- Arrange stock shelving according to FIFO (first in first out), maintain orderly stock room with a constantly fluctuating inventory.
- Assist with new store inventory pulls/needs and other large order drops
- Stand-by forklift driver (on the job training)
- Receive parcels from Fed-Ex, UPS, USPS, DHL, and other carriers
- Maintain shipping materials stock levels and all supplies needed for purchase.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation for this role will vary depending on the candidate’s level of experience.

Qualifications:
- Supply chain and process improvement experience preferred.
- Experience with Windows OS and Mac OS.
- Willingness to work some evenings and holidays.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to track store category performance, trends and additional analytics
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel daily more than 80% of the time within branch or market territory, including occasional overnight travel.
- Applicants must have a valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit.
- Engaging and friendly demeanor
- Strong sales and negotiating skills.
- Be a self-starter, who can work independently
- Ability to stand for a long period of time (4-6 hours), as well as bend, reach, turn and twist
- Must be able to travel to and from stores with necessary equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, 32+ hours a week. May require extra hours.
Work Environment:
Position is at Airport Way, JJS building.
