NEFT Vodka Hiring For General Ledger Manager – Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist at Phoenix, AZ Full Time

NEFT Vodka is a spirits import and distribution company headquartered in El Segundo, California with offices throughout the US. With the continued expansion of our business, we have an exciting opportunity located in our Phoenix, Arizona office for a General Ledger Manager with responsibility for the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the finance team of the company by maintaining accurate and complete general ledger records and managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable/sales reporting processes.

The ideal candidate is a detailed and organized team player with a strong aptitude for numbers and a commitment to delivering timely financial information.

Primary Responsibilities:

• General Ledger Management
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies;
• Direct oversight of accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, in compliance with accounting standards;
• Manage large amounts of data through system import, export, and reconciliation of system balances.
• Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Processing
• Review and process invoices to customers and vendors, employees, and related party entities for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness;
• Enter sales / distributor invoices from subsidiary ledger into QuickBooks;
• Match purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices to verify the validity of expenses and confirm proper authorization;
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues with supplies.
• Expense Reporting
• Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies;
• Verify receipts and documentation for expense claims.
• Financial Reporting
• Taking a balance sheet approach, reconciling cash, A/R, A/P and other general ledger account balances to ensure accuracy and completeness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist with financial analysis and variance reporting as needed.
• Documentation and Filing
• Assist in the management of financial documentation, both physical and digital.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant accounting relations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QBO, Bill.com, and other accounting software; experience with Business Central ERP a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
• Familiarity with generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP).
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and software.
