Summary: Work closely with Accounting and Finance departments with day to day accounting principles including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, financial statement preparation, bank account reconciliation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Participate in month-end close tasks
- Analyze financial transactions to ensure they are assigned to the proper general ledger accounts
- Journal entries related to multiple locations and joint ventures operations
- Review monthly bank reconciliation
- Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliation
- Provide support for various audits and participate in monthly review of financial statements
- Financial Statement preparation
- Ad Hoc reporting

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, no experience required
Licenses/Certification: Work toward CPA is preferred
Language Ability: Written/language skills appropriate for documentation as well as the ability to present information clearly and concisely in front of an audience
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft software products and Great Plaines accounting software.
