Account Executive Key Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Identify business opportunities and generate profitable sles in both new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales plans to increase sales
- Build strategic relationships with key accounts to understand opportunities for creating value
- Perform regular visits to qualified prospects and accounts to drive the business, market share and profitability
- Work collaboratively with the operational staff to ensure customers’ needs and expectations are met
- Assist in corporate products development and report of competitive market analysis
Basic Qualifications & Attributes:
- Strong understanding of logistics business beyond core functional expertise
- Proven track record in sales, prospecting and developing accounts
- Demonstrated knowledge of sale concepts, methods and techniques
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentation
- One or more years in freight forwarding/logistics operations experience needed
- Two or more years in freight forwarding/logistics sales experience needed
- Knowledge of Windows based programs including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Multi-language in Mandarin Chinese/English is preferred.
- GED required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
