At Nestlé Purina PetCare, we’re a “safety first” culture, driven by a zero accident, zero defect, zero waste mentality. As a Maintenance Trainer, you will oversee the scheduling and training activities of the department, while coordinating activities under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. You will also develop and assist in the implementation of initiatives to promote and improve consistent operating practices and procedures. You will be responsible for leading initiatives through mentorship, feedback, and recognition to ensure active participation by team members.
The first two years of this role are project related with the goal of planning and developing the department as we approach operational startup. This position will require travel up to 50% for the first 16-weeks for training and onboarding at our Eden, NC plant. The travel expectation will then reduce to 20%.
