*This position requires living close enough to Solon, OH, or Arlington, VA, to come into the office at least 3 days per week
POSITION SUMMARY:
Main purpose of the job: You will drive tactical Packaging Safety & Compliance activities such as DoC (Document of Compliance) review for packaging materials and specifications (60% of time). Additionally, you will serve as Technical Packaging lead on project teams to deliver innovation and renovation portfolio and/or driving continuous improvement with the factory to optimize filling and packaging line performance and packaging quality (40% of time).

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
BS in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related area of study) or Engineering (Packaging, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related area of study) strongly preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
2+ years’ experience in the food, chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or medical industry, primarily focused on packaging development, quality, regulatory affairs, regulatory compliance, food labeling, nutrition, or product development.
