About the position
Role: Marketing Manager
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Location: Remote, Santa Barbara, CA
As Neurofield Neurotherapy’s marketing director, you will work in collaboration with the communications director. You may work collaboratively with other staff, including marketing consultants, the director of operations, visual designer,s customer service and sales representative on an as needed basis. You will play a key role in creating assets for a customer-centric journey on our digital platforms such as website graphics, email marketing, and social media creative. You will spearhead the larger goals of the marketing department to promote thoughtful, productive experiences, elevate the customer journey, and use engaging storytelling.

What You’ll Do
● Vision, initiate and oversee all major marketing campaigns, including but not limited to creating content for digital newsletters, email marketing, sms communication, social media, youtube channels, paid advertisements, and landing pages for specific marketing campaigns.
● Act as key point of contact and main administrator for all social media interactions. Keeping your “finger on the pulse” to maintain and build long-term, digital relationships. Post all new content.
● Initiate and build an ambassador program.
● You will tie all marketing activity back to organizational goals.
● Help build the brand of the organization. You will be an advocate for consistency, ensuring the look, style and feel for all public-facing communications in accordance with the brand and design systems library.
● Contribute to an ever-changing content calendar serving up original content that spans multiple touch points and creates a consistent omnichannel experience for customers and potential customers.
● Work with communicaction director and CEO to identify key personas and target audiences. Create segment profiles for email marketing campaigns.
● Generate reports regarding analytics and tracking campaign successes and interactions.
● Develop additional touchpoints and methods of communicating with customers as needed.
● Manages marketing strategy by segmenting audiences and ensuring we are sending the “right content to the right people.”
● Lead content creation for marketing campaigns, email design, social media posts, and other content.
● Take the lead on creating landing pages in-line with select marketing campaigns. Promote upcoming classes by updating content on the website with new products and services.
● Control budget for digital advertising campaigns and manage media buying campaigns and paid advertising such as Pay Per Click, social media ads, Linkedin.
● Able to define measurable goals. Dedicated to gathering metrics needed to measure success by creating custom reports and tracking customer behavior from within Google Analytics.
● Make changes to the website according to the approved content calendar.
● Owning file management, uploading files to a shared Dropbox folder for use by the staff marketing team.
● Be responsible for file management for multiple product launches at the same time.
● Work on multiple projects, prioritizing as needed and efficiently managing time.
● Manage deadlines and tight turn-arounds.
● Provide quality assurance of all marketing assets.
● Assist with print, digital and social graphics as needed. Working knowledge of Adobe CC Suite is recommended but not needed.
● Work with graphic designers to create clean and descriptive production files as needed.
● Ensure the usability, consistency, brand relevance, and functionality of finished work.
● Keep up to date with the latest digital technologies, advances in web and mobile technologies.

Experience You Bring
● Proficiency with marketing and design industry and best practices.
● Proficiency and experience with marketing software Klaviyo, Sprout Social, WordPress, LiveEdit is a must., Adobe Creative Suite and Canva experience is a plus.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
● Ability to articulate intent to other members of the team, present to stakeholders with confidence and facilitate relationship building among the team.
● Strong attention to detail.
● Strong project management skills. Must be able to function as an individual contributor who is part of a larger team.
● File organization is a large part of the job. You must have the ability to manage a database of files and images, juggling multiple files with ease in support of weekly campaigns. File management is essential to ensure assets and resources are where they need to be for the rest of the team.
● Excellent spelling, grammar, and persuasive skills
● Motivated self-starter with plenty of ideas
● Advanced Computer Skills. Mac and PC a plus.
● An eye for taking good photos and/or photography skills. Working knowledge of DSLR photography, Photoshop, Lightroom. Familiarity and comfort with videography equipment, DSLR video production.
● Experience with editing film and making files web-ready using Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus.
● Experience managing Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms as administrator.
● Familiarity with neuroscience a plus.
● Experience deploying digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads and Social Platforms)
