RN – Vice President of Nursing Services – Behavioral Health
NewVista Health and Wellness is a forward thinking development and operating company of behavioral health hospitals, substance abuse rehabilitation centers, and behavioral health providers. New Vista Health and Wellness is currently seeking a Vice President of Nursing Services. This position works out of our corporate offices in Blue Ash, OH.
The position of RN – Vice President of Nursing Services will have primary responsibility for administering and coordinating clinical services and programs for our patients and clients at each of our sites through providing leadership to our Directors of Nursing. This role will also play a key part on our corporate team as we look to expand into new territories and develop our current programs.
The successful candidate for this position must have a current, valid Registered Nurse license and 4 years of clinical experience in a Behavioral Health environment. Multi-site leadership is strongly preferred. The candidate must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to behavioral hospitals and addiction treatment facilities.

Job Requirements:
- Current RN license
- Strong previous experience as a Director of Nursing in an addiction treatment facility and/or behavioral health hospital.
- Multi-site leadership strongly preferred
- Experience with medication teaching, management of the therapeutic milieu, and providing mandatory and voluntary in-service training to all staff.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to behavioral hospital and addiction treatment administration.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- The ability to communicate well with employees
- Must maintain CPR certification
