A small, fast-paced, innovative, gift company seeks an experienced, brilliant mind to join our team and redefine our marketing vision. As a Director of Marketing and Promotions, you will be directly responsible for developing a strategic vision, creating and executing marketing plans, optimizing retail advertising, and implementing promotional campaigns. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Amazon and Google marketing, as well as a proven track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies, promoting brand awareness, and creating successful promotional campaigns. We are looking for a person that has a passion for developing imaginative solutions to challenges related to marketing and feels a need to solve problems by closely analyzing data to come up with solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with owners to define the company brand identity.
- Formulate a companywide, cohesive communications plan and marketing strategy.
- Develop and execute high-level wholesale and retail strategies to drive distribution and sales.
- Write and distribute press releases and articles for publication in journals and media outlets.
- Plan, design, and implement new marketing campaigns and programs.
- Coordinate with the retail and wholesale sales teams and design departments to coordinate all marketing activities.
- Plan and organize creative promotional events to increase brand awareness for the company.
- Travel to tradeshows and popup stores to host marketing and promotional events.
- Conduct market surveys and research to determine the needs of customers.
- Manage and test the company’s website and Amazon platform to maximize sales.
- Develop a system for tracking the success of marketing programs.
- Develop and manage budgets for marketing campaigns, ensuring all expenses are within budget and ROI is tracked and reported.
- Develop and manage direct mail and email campaigns to target key customer segments.
- Analyze ROI data to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to increase organic search traffic.
- Manage social media marketing campaigns across multiple platforms to engage with customers and drive sales.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in Amazon and Google marketing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to measure the success of marketing campaigns.
- Proven experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong budgeting skills.
- Experience analyzing ROI data.
- Experience with SEO and social media marketing.
- Ability to work well as part of a team of sales and design professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously and efficiently from a remote position.
- Experience with the Salesforce.com platform is preferred.

Pay: $85,000.00 per year
