We are looking for an experienced Telecom Regional Manager to organize and oversee the operations of a number of accounts. You will assume responsibility for the overall success of the accounts by setting targets, overseeing customer’s satisfaction, and ensuring they are maintained.
Responsibilities:
· Maintains regular communication to monitor and assure current customer satisfaction
· Plans, organizes and supervises pre-construction and construction activities for assigned projects
· Ensures continuity of job progress and maximum efficiencies, point of contact with client peers, subcontractors and utility providers
· Actively seeks new customers to further develop and maintain a strong business relationship as dictated by needs of the company
· Able to travel extended days when required and when site locations dictate
· Able to attend pre-bid meetings, job walks and investigate location sites
· Utilizes company guidelines and resources as well as personal experience to generate job estimates
· Monitors work to ensure compliance with contract terms
· Acquires complete knowledge of all contracts. This includes knowledge of units, pricing and applications, and other specific customer requirements
· Able to review and understand construction documents, plans, specs, addendums, bid docs and geotechnical reports
· Ability to apply logical principles and thinking to solve problems and make effective decisions
· Perform complete and accurate material take-offs and request quotes from potential subs and vendors
· Schedules resources (employee, material, and subcontractors) in logical steps and budgets time required to meet production deadlines in a safe manner
· Analyzes and communicates budget estimates for labor / material / subcontractor cost, progress and cost tracking reports to ensure maximum profitability
· Manage all changes in the SOW that require a change order or extra work authorization
· Manage inventory control, material management and loss control process
· Assumes complete responsibility for the profitability of the division
· Monitors quality control programs, take appropriate actions to ensure quality standards are met.
· Accountable for all job safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, Worker’s Compensation loss management, and DOT compliance in coordination with the Corporate Compliance Department.
· Obtains all necessary permits and licenses
