WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are searching for an HR Manager to join our team who will maximize organizational effectiveness and help activate the organization for growth by advising employees and business leaders! We serve as trusted partners and advisors to the Global Procurement and Materials business, mentoring and advising leaders on matters of performance management, leadership capability, employee morale, etc. We are in need of a new leader who will help us facilitate organizational change and cultivate associations between strategic objectives and HR activities.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this position, you will utilize a variety of methods to ensure you have a strong presence in the function yielding an “insider’s” pulse on strengths, opportunities, and the overall health of the function. You’ll participate in key functional planning and talent planning sessions to assess talent and develop strategies to address development needs, gaps, and risks. You’ll play a key role in developing and/or executing strategies and interventions requiring organizational design, employee relations, leadership, and team development, transition management, performance management, compliance, and overall engagement. Always sensing and listening to employees, you’ll prioritize employee engagement, provide insights on functional depth of talent and develop managers to expand their people leadership capabilities. You’re responsible for driving adoption of workforce planning, and you will act as a steward of data accuracy and adoption of HR tools and systems.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In collaboration with key partners, you’ll work closely with functional HR teams and business units to understand the business priorities and deliver a full spectrum of HR programs and services to build commitment, capability, and overall engagement among individuals and teams. You will report to the Director or Sr. Director, HRBP or Sr. HRBP, but collaborate across all HR COEs. You’ll work with HR teams to capture employee and marketplace insights, data, and trends, which you will use to drive solutions and actions that promote organizational health and the achievement of strategic objectives. You are aligned to the leader’s of Nike, Inc.’s Global Procurement and GSM team.
