Senior Accountant
Nimbis Service, Inc. has a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant to work from our office in Charles Town, WV. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records while ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met. In addition, this position will work closely with the VP of Finance & Administration in budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial information to management and the directors of the organization. This position will handle month end close, financial reporting, day to day accounting transactions, and oversee AP and AR ensuring that accurate and proper accounting procedures are followed in accordance with GAAP and FAR requirements and that all expenses are properly coded. This position will also provide key support and expertise to the VP of Finance and Administration and management in other accounting and finance related functions and will assist with other projects as assigned. This position will have an in-depth knowledge of the company’s accounting software, understand its processes, and be able to troubleshoot issues. The senior accountant will also propose and implement new processes as needed and explore effective system utilization. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and enjoy problem solving and analysis.
US Citizen Status is required for this position with potential clearance in the future.
