Nimbo Tracking, LLC Hiring for GPS Installer Technician Job at Lake Elsinore, CA Full Time

The offered position is for a full-time / part time technician to perform installations of telecommunications equipment into consumer, fleet and vehicles. GPS Equipment must be installed following specific installation guidelines and approved connection procedures. Installations will be performed at customers’ shop locations. The applicant must be willing to travel for periods at a time and possess a smartphone to be utilized for data submission after each installation is completed.

Required Skills:
Experience in an Automotive 12V related field. Have understanding of vehicle installation practices.
Automotive electrical system knowledge is a plus.
Ability to test vehicle wiring using a Multimeter
Ability to disassemble interior/exterior panels on passenger-commercial type vehicles. This includes the dashboard and panels found in various locations which can also include the engine compartment.
Ability to troubleshoot vehicle wiring
Must have reliable transportation, and have the ability to work independently without supervision.
Installation and service of GPS and Fleet Management equipment into various types of vehicles.
Organized at maintaining paperwork and work order upkeep.

Basic computer knowledge to learn the internal system is required.

Applicant must:

• Possess a valid drivers license.
• Provide a personal reliable transportation for local travel.
• Must be flexible to travel long distances if required
• Pass a background check.
• Good communication skills and effective level of customer service.
• Account for and keep track of all company’s equipment.

Candidates are recommended to be over the age of 21 due to the minimum age requirements for rental car companies and hotels

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability
