The State of North Dakota is seeking a candidate that has the passion to Empower People, Improve Lives, Inspire Success, and deliver world class technology through a Human Resource (HR) Operations Manager role for North Dakota Information Technology. As the HR Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic, technical, administrative, and managerial leadership of human resources process operations, program development, policy formulation and interpretation, and data applications and analysis. You will partner with HR Business Partners (HRBP) and other team members to maintain HR infrastructure and deliver services to managers and team members. You will provide support and advice to human resources team members with HRBP or Center of Excellence (CoE) responsibilities. You will also serve as an Ops and Digital Lead on the HR 2.0 transformation for state government.

In addition to the HR team members that report to you, you will supervise administrative staff.
To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, industrial relations, business administration, or a related field and have three (3) years of current and progressively responsible professional-level work experience in human resources that demonstrates your ability to build rapport and credibility as a strategic partner within the business units and across NDIT. North Dakota state government experience in Human Resources required.
