POSITION SUMMARY:
Working under general supervision and with moderate difficulty, this position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Programs Manager, coordinators and supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Composes correspondence, outreach materials, department manuals, newsletter, and annual reports, to ensure accurate and reliable information
Schedules a wide range of events to meet the needs of the department
Receives incoming calls and responds to various inquiries to ensure timely and appropriate response and service delivery
Orders, maintains, and distributes promotional materials to ensure accuracy and prompt delivery
Maintains department records and files to ensure complete and accurate recordkeeping
Assists with coordinating and facilitating caregiver support groups to provide quality service delivery, increase attendance, and expand service delivery throughout the region
Assists with special projects as assigned
Other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma / GED; and two years’ experience in administrative support; and one year experience as a volunteer coordinator; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Physical Activity: Frequent listening, talking, sitting, finger use, and repetitive motion. Occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting.
