We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist:

Job Responsibilities:

• The ideal individual will be responsible for coordinating, completing, and assisting with various HR functions in a telecommuting environment to support Northern’s growth and direction;
• Proactively supports the administration of Northern’s employee payroll systems and effectively performs related duties;
• Collaborates with vendors to find right fit benefits products for Northern’s employees and administers benefits;
• Assists with the overall new hire onboarding process;
• Proactively investigates and recommends improvements in Human Resources practices that will further the objectives of the department and Credit Union;
• Positively participates in additional responsibilities as requested and collaborates with various internal owners to facilitate Northern’s objectives;
• Develops policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations; and
• Leads, motivates, and participates in employee recognition programs and other organizational activities.
