• Effectively executes recruiting strategies that meet organizational needs and searches for talent that aligns with open positions as well as Northern’s culture;
• Proactively participates in on-site events and consistently cultivates partnerships with local colleges, high schools, chambers, and other external partners;
• Partners with the AVP of HR, Training and Compliance with providing consultation to leaders as it relates to personnel matters, performance reviews, discipline and on-the-job training programs related to HR functions;
• Assists the AVP of HR, Training and Compliance in analyzing trends and metrics to develop sound solutions, programs and policies that are efficient, appropriate, and support the strategic goals of the organization; and
• Administers, interprets, and ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, as well as organization policies and procedures.
