Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Construction Operations Manager 3. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
What you will get to do:
The Construction Operations Manager position within the Sentinel Infrastructure segment will be responsible for the leadership and successful delivery of multiple construction projects to meet program objectives. Individual projects will range in size and complexity, typically valued at $5-100 million, with simultaneous construction projects in execution in excess of $1 billion. Will require extensive coordination and schedule integration with an Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) contractor and various stakeholders, including the United States Air Force (USAF) and the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
Construction Operations responsibilities include leading Northrop Grumman construction management teams, management of the EPC contractor and integration with small businesses; lead all aspects of project execution planning, project execution, and reporting. The Construction Operations Manager participates in the negotiation of contracts, contract management, and contract changes. Leads the execution of multiple projects simultaneously with projects located in several states. Develops project execution plans and manages program safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives. Identifies program challenges and develops solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

These positions will have a standard work schedule of 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
