This is a full time position, approximately 32 (+) hours per week (M-F, no weekends). This job does not require previous medical experience as we are willing to train the right individual.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $16.00-$18.00, depending on experience. A review will be done at 90 days and regularly thereafter to assess performance and compensation adjustments.
Benefits are accrued vacation after first year of employment, paid holidays, monthly health insurance allowance to spend on insurance premiums or as employee chooses.

Ideal Candidate
You are a confident, adaptable, flexible, spontaneous, and personable individual to join our small, single-practitioner Naturopathic clinic in Milwaukie, Oregon.
Must enjoy being around people because this position requires direct interactions with individuals. You are the first person the patients see as they come into the clinic and the last one they see when they check out.
You are excellent with people, able to build a rapport quickly, service oriented, welcoming, grounded and confident with your capabilities, willing to make mistakes, willing to learn from your mistakes, trustworthy, ethical and an open-communicator.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have impeccable attention to details.
Must have excellent multi-tasking abilities and be able to follow procedural guidelines when working with people in this role. You have the ability to be highly-attentive during every interaction, while managing multiple tasks at the same time. We are seeking someone who can do more than one thing at a time while maintaining a connection with the patient and the doctor and also anticipating the next step.
Must have computer knowledge and working experience with various office programs, including Microsoft office and word processing. Our medical software program (Medisoft/CHARM) is used for scheduling and accounting. You will be trained on these programs
Skills & Responsibilities
This position does require that you are extremely proficient with numbers and detail.
Office experience and proficiency with answering multiple phone lines, scheduling, filing, typing, and bookkeeping / accounting is a plus.
Additional responsibilities include, communicating directly with laboratories, light cleaning of the office as needed, running weekly reports, stocking inventory, collecting at visit from patients, managing accounting transactions.
