Norton Yacht Sales, Inc. is a professional yacht dealership, brokerage firm, marina and boatyard located in Deltaville, VA . Norton’s has been providing yacht sales expertise since 1948 and represents new yachts from Jeanneau Sail, Jeanneau Power and Smokercraft. In addition to new and pre-owned boat sales, Norton’s has a full-service, year-round boatyard to support our new and repeat customers. For over 73 years, we have provided exceptional service to sailboat and powerboat owners and are carrying on the tradition as we experience tremendous growth during this time. The service team includes all aspects of marine technicians including diesel mechanics, Yamaha technicians, electronics, and yard labor.
We are looking to continue to grow our service department, and finding the right person for this position is critical to our growth as a company. This person will possess strong skills in business, team-building, creativity, urgency, and detail. Responsibilities include:
- Capture and coordinate all service requests and work
- Delegate tasks to a service team of technicians
- Develop and monitor procedures and policies to grow the service department, create efficiencies, and provide a superior product
- Communicate with all customers in a clear and productive way on all jobs on a routine basis
- Inspection and approval of work performed in keeping with our standards
- Ensure compliance in safety, OSHA, and other standards
- Ability to work under strict deadlines, balancing competing priorities
- Assist with marina operation and care
- Manage work order requests, parts, sub-labor scheduling
The perfect candidate will have 3-5 years experience in a manager position in a busy boatyard.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
