Our HR team is growing! NOTS Logistics is looking for a Human Resource Generalist with a passion for people to join our Nashville, IL office! As a Human Resource Generalist at NOTS Logistics, you will provide hands-on, full cycle Human Resources support for NOTS Logistics’ employment efforts. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal employee support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Job responsibilities for the Human Resource Generalist position include:

• Support and coordinate HR information to ensure 100% data integrity in HRIS.
• Support associates and managers with routine, day-to-day HR questions, needs, and inquiries, providing service and guiding our teams to the right resources to ensure a quality and timely solution
• Attendance tracking: coordinate with managers to ensure associates are on the correct schedule patterns
• Perform termination administration duties, largely consisting of ensuring data entry and communication to respective departments
• Ensure the organizations/departments/teams are correct and updated in the HR systems and make appropriate modifications/updates in a timely manner
• Provide guidance and administration oversight of FMLA/STD/WC for employees.

• Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure staffing needs are met
• Help continuously build and develop HR initiatives for NOTS Logistics. Work closely with business unit leaders to transform overall HR strategies into business through effective deployment of HR initiatives
• Investigate employee relations matters and provide counseling, mediation and efficient handling of employee grievances while identifying and helping to manage employment related risks by responding to and resolving complaints
• Assist with growth and integration activities as assigned
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support business needs

To be considered for the Human Resource Generalist position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• A completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/military or workplace equivalent.
• 3+ years’ Human Resources experience within a distribution, manufacturing, or light-industrial environments supporting 250-500 or more associates.
• Hands-on experience taking responsibility for the full scope of HR activities’
• Demonstrated knowledge of human resources policies, practices, and programs with the ability to communicate them to candidates and hiring managers
• SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
