What you will do in this role: *
* Process all paperwork for new employees, ensuring employee data is entered into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
* Manage facility’s payroll records utilizing the time and attendance system and ensures timely submission of verified records to Payroll.
* Process and manages workers’ compensation claims, FMLA claims, leaves of absence and fulfilling OSHA requirement for the facility.
* Assist in implementing the safety program to minimize risk and foster a safe workplace.
* Assist and advises Operations Management in processing employee grievances, making appropriate referrals and offering resources when suitable.
* Maintain the required federal, state and local labor posters and notices.

What are we looking for?*
* Five years of Human Resources experience in related manufacturing or distribution environment.
* Effective communication, both written and oral. Ability to communicate with all levels of employees including management.
* Administrative and organizational skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Proven interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications*
* Bilingual in Spanish and English.
* Bachelor’s degree preferred.
