NRL Mortgage Hiring For Accounts Payable Clerk at Houston, TX Full Time

Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

Major Responsibilities:

• Review and verify invoices and check requests
• Sort, code and match invoices
• Set invoices up for payment
• Enter and upload invoices into system
• Track expenses and process expense reports
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• Prepare and perform check runs
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions
• Prepare analysis of accounts
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Maintain vendor files
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Assist with various ad-hoc reports
• Assist with month end closing
• Assist in the year-end audit and other activities/projects including process improvement
• initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Represent Nations Reliable Lending, LLC in a professional manner by dressing professionally daily while in the office or when attending events.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

• Exceptional customer service skills
• General office skills including (but not limited to) email, internet, printing, faxing, scanning, etc.
• Intermediate level skills with MS Word and MS Excel
• Ability to understand and work with various software programs
• Must be well organized with ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
• Self-starter able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Detailed oriented, team player who is adaptable to change
• Experienced professional with high standards of excellence and adherence to deadlines
• Strong internal controls background

• Ability to handle and process 100 – 200 invoices per month

• Previous Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred, but not required

Education and Experience:

• Education: Four-year degree in accounting or related field or equivalent work experience in a similar environment.
• Experience: Four years revenue and accounts payable experience.
