Nuance Hiring for Regional Vice President – Retail Marketplace Job at Burlington, MA Full Time

The Regional Vice President (RVP) for Retail will be responsible for managing a high-caliber team of senior strategic account executives selling Nuance’s solutions into Retail Accounts that sit across North America. To accomplish this, the chosen individual will work in partnership with Nuance sales, marketing, product management, R&D, operations, and engineering leadership to develop and execute on annual business plans while fostering relationships with Partners, Net New Clients, and decision makers to include C Suite Executives.

This new Sales Leader will have experience with contact center technology as well maintain a passion for innovation and thought leadership. They will help drive and influence Nuance’s Enterprise Strategy through their success and creativity and will report up through the AVP of Enterprise Sales.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years in Sales management selling enterprise software solutions and services to the C-Suite.
• Preferred experience within CCaaS, CCAI, IVR, NLU, Digital, Live Agent Messaging, Chatbot, Security and Biometrics and IT consulting services.
• Proven overachievement of annual sales team quota.
• Experience working in a matrixed environment to deliver comprehensive solutions to the Retail market.

Required Skills:

• Experience in selling SaaS software solutions, traditional perpetual software and professional services.
• Strong ability to forecast and accurately manage the Team’s accounts, opportunities and activity in CRM.
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments and make decisions.
• Must possess strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively and strategically with all levels within an organization.
• Creative thinker with the mindset to shape custom deals – across Enterprise solutions (voice engagement, digital engagement, security & biometrics) that meet our customer and prospect’s financial and technical requirements.
• Excel in demonstrating a confident position on Enterprise business transformations.
• Ability to partner with multiple sales channels both internally (product experts, Sales Engineers, Product Specialists) and externally (channel partners).
• Demonstrated analytical skills, including ROI quantification and justification.
• Maintain a Consultative approach in selling.
• Strong foundation using account planning strategies including, Miller-Heiman, Spin, Sandler, Solution Selling or other recognized sales methodologies / certifications such as The Challenger Sale.
• Skilled at coaching the Team on effective ways to penetrate new accounts while exceeding annual sales quotas.
• Excellent communications & influencing skills.
• Instills a positive Sales Culture that inspires collaboration and friendly competition.
• Knowledge of salesforce.com a plus

Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
