Title: Medical Practice Patient Representative – 40 hours per week! Amazing Benefits, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement!

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Medical Practice Patient Representative (Clerical Office Assistant) to join our team! Provides clerical and administrative support and coordinates the patient care activities for the physician and practice. *Heavy phone and patient volume*

Responsibilities:

• Ensures accuracy of patient’s information, including demographics and insurance.
• Performs reception of customers and communicates pleasantly and effectively. Assures the patient is properly prepared for the scheduled visit to maintain timely patient flow. This includes assisting patients into gowns, having clinical paperwork, any needed supplies and educational materials immediately available for the provider use.
• Answers phones, routes calls, take messages, conveys information, and assures accurate communication.
• Registers, verifies and schedules patient appointments, testing, and referrals.
• Reschedules cancelled, no show, tickler appointments.
• Processes record requests, including the copying, billing, charging and recording.
• Collects co-pays and reconciles money for deposit.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Required: High School diploma/GED
• Excellent communication both in writing and orally.
