NuWorx, LLC Hiring for Warehouse Manager Job at Kenner, LA Full Time

The Nu-Worx Warehouse Manager oversees operations of our warehouse facility to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory and activity is processed according to schedule. It involves preparing schedules for warehouse associates, training new employees on activities and machinery while also monitoring compliance in meeting all safety standards. Nu-Worx stores and distributes materials and products that relies on a high-functioning warehouse. The warehouse manager supervises all activities of the Nu-Worx facility, which often involves expediting the receiving and shipping of goods, and ensuring efficient, organized storage. By streamlining all warehouse activities, this detail-oriented leader can help drive customer satisfaction.

Reports to: Project Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):

• Know and maintain the location of each material and tools in the warehouse
• Ensure that there is always the existence of materials and products in the warehouse in order to meeting customer requirements.
• Completing the proper documentation for each job and communicating effectively the entry and exit of materials and equipment for each job.
• Order materials from suppliers as needed.
• Keep the shop and shop office clean and orderly on a regular basis
• Receive deliveries and making sure they are properly located in the warehouse
• Deliver and collect materials for others when needed at various job locations.
• Report any damage of materials or other equipment to the administration and/or make recommendations on anything that might need repair or replacement
• Manage warehouse so that it is in compliance with company’s policies, procedures and any Federal, State or City guidelines and report to management any safety concerns.
• Work with management to initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures. This could
• involve preparation workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring
• that productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
• Be a liaison with clients, suppliers and transport companies
• Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
• Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly and oversee general maintenance as needed
• Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers
• Ensure productivity, safety, and quality goals are achieved through a process of continuous process improvement
• Work closely with employees to communicate and educate on work instructions, policies, procedures and process improvement initiative
• Ensure superior customer service to customers and internal partners by delivering on shipping commitments to customers

Other Skills and Qualifications – Good interpersonal and skills are necessary to build effective working relationships with employees, contractors and other company suppliers or vendors.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am- 4pm (Occasionally Saturday if needed)
Compensation: $18.00 – $22.50 per hour, some benefits provided.
