Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Speech Pathologist III – Brooklyn.
In this role, the successful candidate Under direct supervision, assists in administering diagnostic and rehabilitative services to patients with speech and language impairments. Performs related work.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Graduate of a professional degree program in Speech Pathology.
Experience as a Speech Pathologist in a hospital or health care setting is preferred.
CFY: graduate of an approved Speech Pathology program
Staff level I: Entry level after CFY completed.
Staff level II: 2 years experience as a Speech Pathologist and 10 days of continuing education or advanced degree work deemed comparable.
Senior Level I: 3 years experience as a Speech Pathologist and 14 days of continuing education or advanced degree work deemed comparable.
Senior Level II: 5 years experience as a Speech Pathologist and 17 days of continuing education or advanced degree work deemed comparable.
New York State License or eligible in Speech Pathology
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
CPR certification.
Preferred Licenses: Speech Pathologist Lic-NYS
Preferred Qualifications:
Language skills, in addition to English, preferred.
Computer data entry skills.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $93,937.07 – $93,937.07 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
