Ability to motivate students and influence their behaviors. Capacity to align curriculum, instruction, and assessments while responding to the individual needs of students. Essential Duties

This position will create an atmosphere that will nurture to fulfillment the potential of each student. Provide students with appropriate in-person instruction in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

Develop, implement, and sustain classroom curriculum which fosters critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative skills of students

Helping students examine how classical civilizations progressed, then move toward social and economic revolutions, and end with an in-depth study of modern history.

Create lesson plans according to the school’s established guidelines and submit to Principals as required.

Maintains safe, secure, and healthy educational environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required)

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university, possess a current and valid Michigan Teaching Certificate required by the Michigan Department of Education.
