Senior Program Manager

As a Senior Program Manager, you will assume a pivotal role in leading product integration and coordination on a major modernization IT initiative at a US federal agency. Your responsibilities will encompass stakeholder engagement, cross-program coordination, effective communication, and ensuring program-wide transparency. Your leadership will be critical in driving the success of this IT modernization program.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

• Manage/influence from the front, prioritize, and drive the bigger mission forward by helping product teams translate vision into results.
• Possess a deep understanding of business and strategic/tactical directions of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ Medicare Fee-For-Service (FFS) program so that gaps are identified and risks are articulated to relevant stakeholders and managed within the program
• Coordinate with multiple product teams, including business stakeholders, both internal and external to the program on day-to-day activities as well as larger, program wide events such as program increment planning.
• Foster better teamwork with business stakeholders. Improve processes by which information is shared, communication is effectuated, goals are clarified to increase the government’s responsiveness to business stakeholders.
• Implement Strategic Portfolio Management to establish feedback loops at the highest level.Visualize portfolio management at the highest levels to help understand and visualize the portfolio system and make that transparent for business stakeholders and teams. Provide transparency into how the portfolio initiatives move across the portfolio systems from idea/request to value created.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience with program/project management, system integration, coordination and facilitation, PMO support
• Experience with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ Medicare Fee-For-Service (FFS) program or similar
• Project Management Professional (PMP), SAFe Agile certifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
