The Human Resources Coordinator will also perform administrative tasks related to the recruiting function to include: updating job descriptions and job postings, screening resumes, and facilitating the background check and drug test process. Primary
Responsibilities:
Assist with planning, preparation and execution of recruiting fairs and events.
Participate as part of the hiring and selection process by conducting individual and group interviews.
As needed, will coordinate interviews with hiring groups including routing schedules and resumes, making travel arrangements (when necessary) and gathering interview feedback.
Assist with onboarding of newly hired Associates for the Distribution Center to include assigning trainers/mentors and soliciting feedback upon completion of the training process.
Conduct new hire orientation, clearly communicating Ollie’s values and DC principles and review current policies and procedures.
Maintain all applicant paperwork including applications, new hire paperwork and identifying documents and ensure that all compliance issues are met with regards to the recruitment process.
Post new open position descriptions on appropriate internal and external sites for the Distribution Center; also responsible for editing and removing positions as needed.
Update designated reports for the Distribution Center(s) to include daily staffing forecast and recruiting activity reports.
Coordinate the completion of all new hire background checks while maintaining confidential/sensitive candidate information.
Review and assess background checks in accordance with company background screening guidelines.
Administer and track distribution center sign-on and referral bonus programs and coordinate payout with Payroll Department.
Maintain associate file documents, ensuring compliance with record retention guidelines.
Provide support with planning and executing facility events and activities.
Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
Possess the ability to work effectively in a professional manner.
The ability to exercise sound judgement.
Ability to effectively communicate with all team members as well as guests.
Ability to complete assignments in the time allotted.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite June 2022 Physical.
Requirements:
Physical ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.
Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
