Mission of the role:

This is a role is for a self-motivated and driven LIMS Administrator, responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and data integrity of the LIMS system and all other Lab-related applications and lab instruments. In this role, you will support the selection, implementation, validation, administration, and integration required by Oncocyte for laboratory and business operations. You must be comfortable researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, identifying, championing, and implementing solutions.

Your day-to-day:

• Must have experience with managing and/or implementing a Lab Information Management System (LIMS).
• Serve as the main point of contact for escalation of any Lab systems, custom software, data integrations, and system enhancements.
• Execute daily operations (e.g., configuration, administration, validation, and master data management, etc.) of all Laboratory systems and related software.
• Provide hands-on operational support (technology, out-of-the-box configurations, process, and content) for installed solutions to implement and maintain efficient and effective operational processes.
• Lead all efforts around the integration of Lab Instruments with various software and systems.
• Translate business requirements to technical requirements that will serve to design and implement the appropriate infrastructure.
• Follow best practices around HIPAA, HITRUST, GDRP, and GxP compliance.
• Strong understanding of the development life cycle (SDLC) methodology when delivering new solutions and system enhancements.
• Collaborate regularly with Business Systems Owners and the Quality & Compliance organization.
• Responsible for writing/maintaining systems documentation, and adherence to IT Policies, SOPs, compliance standards, GxP requirements, and change controls.
• Perform user training on supported systems and processes.
• Author GxP technical requirements, use cases, process flow document, create robust test plans and scripts, execute testing, support user acceptance testing, and perform production roll-out for new systems and systems enhancements.
• Implementation – Provide support during systems implementations, overseeing development and configuration to ensure the solutions are built and will meet/exceed the needs of the business.
• Ability to manage projects, oversee resources and ensure deliverables are met on time.
• Hands-on experience with the QuickBase Development platform is a plus.
• Assist in the management of third-party development partners and deliverables.
• Other tasks as assigned.

What it takes to do this job:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems related or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years supporting Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical operations, and experience supporting lab-related applications, custom software projects, IT and business process development.
• Hands-on experience with GxP and regulated systems, including the execution of computer system validation deliverables and processes.
• Demonstrated experience in new system implementations and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Proven ability to effectively own and support multiple systems and concurrent projects.
• Strong cross-functional and analytical skills.
• Strong process mapping skills and ability to see the big picture.
• Working knowledge of Database structure, Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Linux-based Operating Systems.
• Dashboard Development and Metrics Reporting.
• Experience managing large amounts of data.
• Proven ability to effectively manage high levels of activity and multiple demands simultaneously.
• Requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation skills.

• Flexibility: IT-related projects may require you to work outside of normal business hours or over a weekend.
