1Path is hiring for an exciting new opportunity in the Nashville, TN area, providing a high quality customer service experience for a global brand deploying a fiber-to-the-premise solution!

The Lead Drop Technician will manage a crew to install underground telecommunications and fiber optic cables. This individual should be customer focused and committed to ensuring the highest degree of end-user satisfaction, as well as being well versed in the fundamentals of residential customer wiring and installation.

Job Requirements:

• Must possess a strong commitment to customer service and an enthusiastic demeanor.
• Must be able to work flexible hours
• Must have a valid Driver’s license – Class A CDL
• Preferred Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 pounds regularly
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience in underground utilities
• Experience installing/splicing fiber optic cables preferred
• Willing to travel

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare work site to locate utilities and eliminate hazards

• Signal operators to facilitate movement or alignment of equipment
• Load, unload and transport construction materials and tools
• Excavate and fill trenches/ditches
• Install underground telecommunications cable/inner duct
• Follow safety standards throughout process
