Works directly with client group in researching and responding to employee inquiries, questions and complaints; provides information, guidance and direction on HR programs, processes, and procedures to employees and managers. Conduct training on HR systems and tools. Lead remote new hire training and support onboarding activities. Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues and HR system issues. Drives resolution with other HR organizations to resolve issues. Prepare complex reports for client group on regular and ad hoc basis. Works closely with HR Business Partners and client groups in the implementation of company-wide programs (e.g., salary/bonus/stock review) as well as client group specific requests, projects and programs. Assume specialized roles on rotational basis for broader HR functions (e.g. immigration, RIF). Translate new HR system functionality into process change and participate in UAT for HR systems. Mentor and train less experienced HR Representatives. Conduct cross-organizational training on HR systems and processes. Other duties as assigned such as analyze data to advise on trends and issues, provide initial compensation analysis and perform initial intake of Employee Relation issues.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to provide assistance to client groups on HR systems and guidance in applying company policies and procedures. Key skills and abilities include strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, problem solving, influencing and analysis. Knowledge of excel. Familiarity with HRIS systems, MS Word and PowerPoint are desired. Ability to multi-task and work in a high volume environment. Typically 2-5 years experience in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
