Account Executive for Property and Casualty InsurancePosition Description: The Account Executive provides excellent client service in all areas in order to maximize client retention, replaces the Producer as the primary client service contact, leads the service team and works with the Producer to obtain new clients.Position Benefits:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Respond to client requests in a timely, effective and professional manner
• Respond to Producer requests in a timely, effective and professional manner
• Request endorsements and policy changes to the insurance company
• Maintain Applied Epic and G drive computer files according to procedure
• Work with the client to obtain new and renewal information on assigned clients
• Participate in Insurance and Risk Management Assessments
• Work with the Producer and team to decide where to market new business and renewals
• Communicate effectively with underwriters to market and service clients and prospects
• Negotiate with carriers to create the best combination of coverage and premium
• Review quotes and create proposals for Producer to present to clients and prospects
• Present renewal proposals to clients with and without the Producer
• Ensure we effectively bind new coverage for prospects and renewal coverage for clients
• Prepare coverage summaries/comparisons, proposals and recommendations for us to present to clients and prospects.
• Coordinate and participate in insurance company loss control surveys of clients. Update the narratives with the information from the loss control surveys.
• Provide proactive daily client service
• Coordinate the team workflow and be a resource for service questions
• Help interview and train new P&C team members as the team grows
• Provide training to new team members on agency procedures and client service
• Provide leadership and training to service team members on excellent client service
• Conduct effective performance reviews for the P&C service team
• Improve Applied Epic procedures
• Coordinate and manage insurance company visits to Orion
• Attend insurance company events to represent Orion and distribute updates to the P&C service teams

Qualifications:

• California Fire and Casualty License
• Advanced Insurance Credential such as CIC, ARM or CPCU
• High school diploma
• Excellent people skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Experience (5 to 10 years) as an Account Manager in a retail insurance broker

Job Type: Full-timePay: $85,000.00 – $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:
