JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Technology Analyst is a subject matter expert and technical analyst for Oshkosh Corporation and is responsible for the continuous improvement of the HRIS Workday platform. The HR Technology Analyst will collaborate and consult with subject matter experts in Human Resources as well as Business Unit Leaders to implement and maintain system configurations, system upgrades and reports. The HR Technology analyst is responsible for ensuring system and business processes are set up in a modern, simple, and effective manner for Oshkosh Corporation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned:
Manages and maintains configuration of the Workday system while providing expertise for HCM, Compensation, Talent, Learning & Recruitment.
Actively benchmark and engage with software vendor community for collaboration with other companies as well as prioritizing upcoming releases to drive continuous improvement
Provide internal consulting services to business to improve processes by proposing new solutions and driving adoption of new functionality
Creating project lists and cutover plans to implement needed changes or new functionality
Configuration of new or adjusted functionality, business process adjustments, field changes, or new modules and understanding downstream impacts.
Facilitate end to end testing processes to ensure successful system set up and testing of new or adjusted configuration inclusive of integrations
Participate in cross functional projects and enhancements with other areas such benefits, absence, time tracking, payroll, reporting and integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues by logging and tracking reported issues to vendor and ensure timely resolution
Maintain quality standards and procedures for the HRIS System
Create and maintain process documentation, job guides, templates, and reference materials supporting the HRIS platform
Facilitate training as needed to key stakeholders
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems/Technology, or related field
Three (3) or more years of experience in HRIS, IT, or related area
Experience with Workday configuration and business processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Understanding of PII information and the ability to work with and manage HR confidential data
Knowledge of HRIS technology and the development of effective processes to support and operationalize HRIS strategies
Strong presentation, project, and time management skills
Proficiency with various office software applications, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Professional Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR), or Society Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM CP).
