Responsibilities:
Responsible to evaluate client needs, provide direct clinical services, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings/staffings. Provide direct psychiatric social work services within the outpatient setting. Maintain appropriate documentation and prepare reports as required. May provide supervision to subordinate staff/ students.
Ability to work under stressful situations with clients, families, and other human services providers. Appointments may involve irregular work hours and may be provided at satellite locations.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in a mental health related field required at time of application, eligible for licensure or licensed to practice counseling in New York State (LMSW, LCSW, LCAT, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC). Masters level psychologists are encouraged to apply.
