Pace® is a leading environmental laboratory and is a member of the largest privately held environmental testing agency in the country. We are hiring a temporary HR Representative to help support our recruiting activities. This is a remote position; no travel required.
Responsibilities include:
Provide administrative support to the HR Manager/HR Business Partner
Support recruiting activities by:
Partnering with laboratory hiring managers to post requisitions for open positions.
Completing pre-screening of candidate applications,
Conducting phone interviews and determine viable candidate statuses.
Scheduling interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Escalate employee or candidate questions/concerns to the appropriate HR Contact as needed.
Required Knowledge/Skills:
Administrative practices and procedures, such as business letter writing and the operation of common office equipment.
Correct English usage, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary
Computer applications and systems related to the work
Using tact, discretion, initiative, and independent judgment within established guidelines
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work.
Organizing work, setting priorities, meeting critical deadlines, and following up assignments with a minimum of direction.
Maintaining databases, forms, documents and related information.
Experience with Outlook & ADP (or other email/HRIS systems) is a plus, but not required.
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm.
Duration: 3+ months. This is a temporary, entry-level assignment.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma/GED; AND two (2) years of administrative support experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
