PACT MSO is looking for a Staffing Specialist to work in our Branford office location. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 5:00pm.
Summary
This position is responsible for full life cycle recruiting and conducting new hire orientation.
Essential Functions
Responsible for all aspects of full life cycle recruiting including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, making offers, onboarding.
Conducts weekly new hire orientation (NHO)
Coordinates with other departments the NHO schedule
Maintains applicant tracking system (ATS) and keeps it up to date daily
Maintain and update staffing reports including open positions report
Reviews resumes to accurately sources resumes to the appropriate hiring manager
Assists with job posting and advertisement processes
Screens applications and selects qualified candidates
Ensures NHO material and onboarding paperwork is up to date, accurate and filled out by the candidate
Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Organizes, attends, and participates in job fairs
Performs other duties as assigned
Skills and Knowledge
Excellent typing skills
Strong knowledge of how databases work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
Proficient with ATS and HRIS
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience
Associates degree
5 years of experience working with ATS
5 years of full life cycle recruiting experience
3 years of experience with HRIS
