Automotive Technician (Tualatin)-Mechanic.

Paragon Auto Repair is currently looking to hire an Auto Technician, Mechanic , who is appreciated for there work. We are dedicated to providing quality service to our customers in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair. Auto Technician, Mechanic , must be experienced as a Auto Technician, Mechanic and able to work on all imports and domestic vehicles. A.S.E certifications a plus but not needed. Auto Technician, Mechanic must have knowledge in drive ability and electrical repairs. Auto Technician, Mechanic must have your own tools. This position is full time, Auto Technician, Mechanic- Monday through Friday with medical benefits, paid vacation, paid holidays after probationary period. Candidate must work well independently and as a team player. Must be self motivated and have good customer relation skills.

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations
• Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
• Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
• Inspect vehicles according to the state’s requirements for emissions and safety
• Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
• Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
• Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety

• 3+ years’ of service technician experience

• Willingness to participate in in-house training
• Ability to operate all auto repair tools
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must

compensation: 18-30 D.O.E. – FLAT RATE employment type: full-time
