Job Specifications/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Must have strong time management, project management, organizational, and team collaboration skills.
3+ years’ experience with SQL Server 2012/2016/2017
3+ years’ experience with advanced Transact-SQL (writing complex queries, joins, indexes, triggers, stored procedures etc.)
3+ years’ experience with SSIS and Data Extraction and Transformation process
3+ years’ experience using SQL Analytical and Reporting Tools – SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, Tableau
One to two (1-2) years of experience in multi database data mining, data warehouse design
Proficient with MS Office Products: Word, Excel, Access, Visio
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, CPR +, NextGen, Salesforce or Azure DevOps desired, but not required.
Experience with Healthcare related data is desired, but not required.
Major Responsibilities:
Applies business and database analysis skills to gain deep understanding of user’s needs.
Design and develop processes for extraction, transformation and loading of data from various business applications to the data warehouse using SSIS and other ETL tools and techniques.
SSRS report development such as tabular reports, sub-reports, matrix, drill-down, charts, etc.
Design and develop KPI dashboards using BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Work hands-on and provide technical knowledge in the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of the enterprise database information systems.
Support integrations with various systems such as NextGen, CPR+, Salesforce CRM and Dynamics GP.
Complete technical documentation of processes and custom solutions.
Recommend and implement best use practices such as workflows and simple customizations and communicate with IT management.
Assist the IT technical support team on all database issues related to business applications and custom BI solutions, SQL jobs and schedules.
Take guidance from Director of BI/Analytics to ensure tasks are completed successfully and on schedule.
Understands and adheres to all external accreditation review standards, applicable state, local and Federal laws and / or regulations including maintaining patient confidentiality through abiding by HIPAA laws/regulations.
Understands and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Takes initiative to present ideas / suggestions to management utilizing proactive problem-solving approach.
Utilizes appropriate communication lines in relaying problems, concerns, questions, and ideas.
Handles complaints/issues in a fair and empathetic manner.
Ability to work under strict guidelines, competing priorities, and immediate requests.
