We are a growing, family-owned, cafe with locations in La Jolla, Little Italy, and Del Mar. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and passionate about the job she/he does and is eager to learn and grow personally and professionally.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service and consistently create and facilitate standard-setting, high-quality products

• Lead by example while following and promoting company policies, procedures, and standards

• Effectively problem solve and execute solutions without requiring constant follow-up

• Communicate with owners, operational manager, and executive chef as needed about employee performance, potential improvements, store needs, maintenance issues, etc.

• Assist in and facilitate training and development of FOH staff including supervising learning, assessing trainee status, providing effective and constructive feedback, and ensuring individual requirements are met

• Oversee and ensure daily orders, inventories, labor compliance, and employee duties are completed

• Actively work to improve quality, efficiency, consistency, and overall operations of the restaurant

• Oversee and collaborate with both FOH and BOH staff to maintain high standards of restaurant cleanliness, food safety, and food quality

• Promote and prioritize a friendly, vibrant work environment

Requirements:

3+ years food service experience

1+ year(s) management experience

Open availability

Reliable transportation

Barista experience preferred
