Summary: The HR Manager at Paramount Healthcare Services is responsible for ensuring the overall administration, coordination, evaluation and success of our human resources plan. The manager will manage a staff of Recruiting Coordinators and Compliance/HR Coordinators. The manager must understand the nursing talent needs of our clients, be proactive, creative, goal oriented and have a relentless pursuit of success. The manager must have a proven track record of successful hiring, preferably within the healthcare services industry. The manager must also be willing to step in and perform all functions within the department when called upon.
Reporting to the President & CEO, the HR Manager is responsible for:
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Understand the mission of Paramount Healthcare Services and drive the HR team in that direction
· Developing short-term and long-term goals for the department that are inline with the vision of the President and CEO.
· Developing the HR roadmap (plan)
· Hiring and managing a team of Recruiting Coordinators, ensuring that each coordinator meets hiring goals
· Hiring and managing a team of Compliance/HR Coordinators, ensuring that each coordinator meets goals
· Establishing metrics and reporting for employees and upper management
· Communicate clearly the progress of the department
· Enhancing the department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new requests
· Willing and able to do all of the functions of a Recruiting Coordinator and/or Compliance/HR Coordinator when needed
· Responsible for working with the Business Development team to align with their sales efforts
Additional HR responsibilities for in-house employees include:
· Implementing and revising the compensation program
· Creating and revising job descriptions
· Developing, analyzing, and updating the company’s salary budget
· Developing, analyzing and updating the company’s evaluation program
· Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures
· Maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies and procedures
· Overseeing recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads
· Conducting new employee orientations (onboarding) and employee relations counseling
· Terminating employees
· Overseeing exit interviews
· Maintaining department records and reports and participating in administrative staff meetings
· Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts
· Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Organizational Management required (MBA preferred) with at least 7 years of HR progressive experience with a minimum of 3 years talent acquisition experience
· Previous Managerial or Supervisory experience required (management of a small team preferred)
· Staffing agency experience preferred
· Solid background in policies, organizational behavior and employment laws
· Ability to interpret and use data to identify areas of improvement
· Must possess excellent oral/written communication, presentation, interviewing and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent critical thinking skills
· Strong computer skills
· Results driven
· Self-starter with excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
· Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Job Type: Full Time Monday-Friday
Salary: $1,200-$1,800 per Week
