What you will do
Help us build our shipping intelligence platform for SMB eCommerce merchants, enabling them to gain better insight into their shipping data through automation and analysis. Integration with APIs, automating and optimizing processes, and developing scalable code to process hundreds of millions of data points will be part of a typical week.
Who you are
Firstly, it’s important that you:
- can communicate clearly while working remotely
- write clean, readable code – including tests! TDD appreciated (check out Laracasts if unfamiliar)
- enjoy reasoning with difficult problems and creating practical solutions
We’d like you to have:
- at least 2 year’s of working experience with Laravel
- strong knowledge of PHP7+
- awareness of software design patterns
- knowledge of database design principles, and use of MySQL
Experience with any of the following is a bonus:
- APIs and OAuth systems
- Redis
- Shipping Carrier APIs (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL)
- eCommerce Marketplace Platforms (Shopify, eBay, Amazon, etc)
