The Park Maintenance Team is looking for individuals who share our enthusiasm for public service by providing safe, clean and fun public spaces for recreation. Our most successful park maintenance workers have a unique combination of skills and traits including good customer service, an eye for detail and an ability to follow direction and work independently. Applicants should also enjoy doing physical labor outdoors in all types of weather, working with their hands and learning new things.
WHAT IS IT LIKE TO WORK ON OUR TEAM
A Park Maintenance workers tasks vary greatly from day to day. Some days you may work on projects as part of a team and other days you may be given a list of tasks to complete independently.
Under the immediate supervision of a Crew Leader, Park Maintenance Workers, perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled work in the cleaning, upkeep and maintenance of CBJ parks, playgrounds, sports fields, courts and recreational areas. If selected for this position you will:
Education: None
Experience: None
Other: Not less than 18 years of age
A valid Driver’s License at time of appointment and for continued employment
