The OCM and Training Lead is responsible for leading communication, training, and change in support of the Human Resource department Workday Implementation (WDI) initiative. This includes understanding the user impact of changing key business process or interfaces and helping the organization adapt.

Workday Implementation
The WDI initiative is the replacement of PATH’s main HR information systems including Applicant Tracking (recruiting), and HRIS (core HR functions) by installing Workday.
The OCM and Training Lead will play a key role in ensuring the WDI initiative meets objectives by developing strategies, using proven methodologies (AIM, Prosci, Adult Learning Principles, learning modalities etc.) to increase employee adoption and usage of new PATH HR system. This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, etc. The OCM and Training Lead will develop an approach to drive faster adoption, design and develop curriculum to support the change and ultimately higher utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in Human Resources and more broadly to PATH staff.
This role collaborates closely with the WDI-Project Lead, the designated Change Management Lead from PATH’s implementation partner, learning team and with business SMEs/stakeholders to implement quality HR systems that deliver business value.
This role will also work to ensure that any change management efforts on WDI are well coordinated with other HR change efforts.
Description of Work
Leveraging a change management methodology, process, and tools to advance our strategy to support adoption of the changes required by the project.
Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.
Assess the ongoing change impacts based on the change and roles impacted and develop/complete change management.
Lead the effective planning, preparation, and delivery of training to support new business (processes), optimize knowledge, skills, productivity, quality, and compliance. This includes HR staff and end-users.
Develop and utilize existing templates and processes to document user support materials.
Support sponsor engagement by developing communication and engagement needs with key initiative and PATH stakeholders/leaders.
Coordinate efforts with other members of the WDI Project Team
As part of the overall strategy, define success metrics and process to gather data and monitor change progress and ensure user readiness.
