Special Requirements:

Drivers need to be able to load, unload appliances and other heavy objects
Candidates should have experience working with dollies, lift gates, pallet jacks and ramps.
Candidates should have the ability to work with tools, general assembly/installation experience and ability to read and follow service manual instructions
Having prior local delivery experience in metro areas would be a plus

Position Details:

VERY LABOR INTENSE JOB:
This Whirlpool account is located in North Liberty, IA approximately 70 miles NW from Davenport.
Driver will home every night and will typically have Saturdays and Sundays off.
This position is mainly all retail stops. Driver will unload at store locations.
Will use a ramp and 2 wheel dolly to load and unload appliances onto the truck each day.
Drivers will be based at cross-dock facilities in N. Liberty IA.
ALL appliances, furniture and mattresses will have to be unloaded from a shuttle trailer and then loaded onto the truck for transport.
Delivery drivers and helpers load their assigned trailers or straight truck daily and are responsible for making damage free deliveries.
Drivers need to be able to load and unload appliances.
They will deliver new appliances and sometimes return with old or damaged appliances.
