The Operations Program Manager- Simple Fuel works to plan and coordinate major new product launches, which impact multiple departments, processes, and systems. This role serves as the operational interface between the manufacturing plant team and engineering, project manager, and customer sales teams. This position coordinates activities to ensure successful product launch that achieves program deliverables:

• Meet all quality requirements
• Planning and purchasing parts and components for assembly
• Coordinates all activity related to finalizing BOM and routing
• Purchase and setup of assembly tools and equipment
• Documenting manufacturing procedures
• Documenting production test protocol and required capital equipment
• Documenting assembly and test schedules and communicating to all stakeholders
• Provides formalized and continuing work direction and leadership to team members and is responsible for the appropriateness, timeliness, and quality of each aspect of planning, assembly, test, and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Plans, and organizes all aspects of program implementation and completion.
• Maintains a detailed plan for each order; updates the execution plan to accurately reflect the status.
• Exercises a leadership role, ensuring the completion of orders within defined timelines, budget controls, and quality standards.
• Continually communicates the status of each order to all participants, stakeholders, and Senior Management.
• Assists all functional departments throughout the organization with any day-to-day operational work that is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent combination of training and experience that provides in-depth knowledge of purchasing, planning, manufacturing, and quality.
• 7+ years of operations and supply chain management experience, or equivalent, relevant professional experience in the assigned line of business.
• PMI certification preferred.
• PC literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio Flowcharting, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiating skills.
• Displays initiative and courage.
• Ability to lead and motivate team members.
• Ability to work independently and follow through with assignments to completion.
• Ability to collaborate with various departments and levels of management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
