Medical Billing Specialist
Peak Partners is looking to add a Medical Billing Specialist to our team! We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, and detail-oriented individual to come alongside us to help better serve our clients.

Peak Partners offers services to help small businesses succeed! We specialize in medical credentialing and billing.

Duties may include:

– Processes claims, denials, rejections to support the revenue cycle

– Processes all incoming remittances for client billing

· Conducts insurance billing claim appeals with insurance companies

· Ensures communication within EMR is accurate and up to date for client care and billing

· Monitors insurance code changes and communicates insurance denial trends

· Processes all new client information, including yet not limited to personal, insurance and financial information

· May Conduct insurance verification for clients with insurance providers

· Maintains strict client confidentiality via records, conversations and EMR system (HIPAA)

· Uses EMR system to provide appropriate information to providers and institutions, including Release of Information requests

QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in the medical billing field

· Understands the insurance system for appropriate client information

· Excellent customer service skills

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Knowledge of Microsoft office and phone systems
