Minimum starting pay for this position is $65,840 annually or commensurate with experience.
Position Summary
The Human Resources Development Specialist is responsible for administration of the Cooperative’s Annual Training Plan, New Employee Orientation and other training programs in support of the Cooperative’s strategic initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate the development and implementation of the overall training plan and strategy for the Cooperative’s Corporate Compliance Training
Coordinate and lead New Hire Orientation and ensure a smooth, positive and welcoming experience
Identify and develop training programs that provide growth and development of people management and supervisory skills for all levels of management
Administer Cooperative wide career development planning, programs and processes
Coordinate and provide support of the Cooperative’s Internship Program
Develop and maintain the records keeping functions of training attended by staff
Provide statistical reports and data to include class completion rates, course evaluations, etc.
Perform other Human Resource duties as assigned
Benchmark for best practices in management training and employee development
Make recommendations for improvements based on benchmark and class evaluation data
Maintain the security of confidential information
Stay abreast of advances in technology

Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of using computer systems, which may include setting up and using hardware and software programs, entering data or processing information Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
Knowledge of principles, theories and practices of Organizational Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Adult Learning, Instructional Design and Talent Management
Skilled in time management
Skilled in anticipating, identifying, analyzing and resolving conflict and problems
Skilled in prioritizing and managing changing priorities
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to anticipate, identify, analyze and resolve conflict and problems
Ability to work without day to day supervision.
Ability to research issues and develop recommendations based on prevailing practices
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and employees
Ability to work across organizational boundaries to accomplish training objectives
Ability to prepare and conduct presentations
Ability to listen, comprehend and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Minimum Qualifications – (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensing)
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Applied Behavioral Science, Business Administration or related field preferred
Directly related experience may substitute for education
Three years of work experience
Valid Driver’s License

Exempt employees receive a fixed bi-weekly salary to compensate them for all hours worked during each pay period
